My interest in Immunology began when I went to the University of Glasgow in 2007 to study a BSc (Hons) degree in Immunology. I graduated in 2011 and then undertook a PhD at The Roslin Institute under the supervision of Professor Jayne Hope and Professor Gary Entrican from 2011-2015. My PhD project focused on the internation between natural killer cells and dendritic cells following BCG vaccination on neonatal calves. Following on from this, I worked as a post doc in Dr Liam Morrison's laboratory, where I developed bovine intestinal organoids to study host-pathogen interactions.
I am excited to be coordinating and managing the International Veterinary Vaccinology Network, and look forward to working with you all.
