Since January 2012, I'm working as an independant consultant at Cantum Biosciences providing technical services in biological products development and regulatory affairs. I also act as an expert to governmental bodies funding livestock vaccine developments in Africa and South-East Asia.
Previously, I worked 25 years for the veterinary biological industry in Pfizer AH, SmithKline Beecham AH and the International Institute of Cellular and Molecular Pathology, in Belgium and UK.
During this time I held various senior Regulatory and R&D technical and management roles, developing and licensing immunologicals for most major animal species using all routes of EU registration. At various stages of my career I also led or guided international product development teams and played an active role in a number of industrial mergers and acquisitions. I led numerous meetings with most EU and national regulatory or technical agencies, including EMA and the European Pharmacopoeia.
During 16 years, I was an active member of the Biologicals Working Party at the International Federation of Animal Health Industries (IFAH), directly influencing the EU and international veterinary biologicals regulatory and technical frameworks.
I'm holding a BSc in Biomedical Sciences, a Master Degree in Biomedical Technologies and a PhD in Medical Sciences (Molecular Biology & Immunology), all granted by the University of Louvain (UCL), Belgium.
I'm fluent in English & French and I'm currently perfecting my Spanish and Portuguese languages skills.
