Biography

I am a University lecturer and researcher at the College of Veterinary Medicine, Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Nigeria. I obtained my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria in 2004 and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from the University of Nottingham, United Kingdom in 2018. I am basically a veterinary microbiologist with bias for bacteria and fungi. I am also biorisk management trainer and I enjoy trainings and public speaking.

Research interests

Using cultural, histochemical, molecular biology and bioinformatics tools to investigate zoonosis, bacteria of livestock and foods of animal origin and antimicrobial resistance in the context of One-health
