IVVN Fellowship programme

The IVVN and the Canadian government’s International Development Research Centre (IDRC) launched a fellowship programme for women postdoctoral researchers from low-and-middle income countries (LMICs) in 2020. These fellowships support award recipients' career progression in veterinary vaccinology and accelerate the development of vaccines for livestock and zoonotic diseases.

Fellowships come with £50,000 of funding for each fellowship project. The programme also provides an opportunity for each fellow to establish relationships with a local and international mentor. These relationships support recipients' professional development and enables fellows to work on a defined piece of research to advance veterinary vaccine development.

The programme is not currently open for applications. Future funding rounds will be advertised to IVVN members through the monthly newsletter. If you are not currently a member, sign up for free here.
