Research Governance Manager for the KEMRI Wellcome Trust Research Programme with over 10 years’ experience in this post with experience working in pharmaceutical industry clinical trials in the UK. She serves as a regulatory resource to the Programme and external customers on research planning and conduct, research and data governance, quality assurance and compliance, facilitating the development, implementation, and continual improvement of research and quality management systems. Her experience includes monitoring clinical trials, engagement with the institutional ethics committee and national medicines regulatory authority to support the improvement of their working processes and to increase efficiency of their operations. She has also been instrumental in the development and management of a protocol tracking and management system, and management of institutional data sharing and data governance processes.
