I working since 1996 as a professor of immuunology at the Faculty of Veterinary medicine- Cairo university. iI am interested in the fields of immunodiagnostic, immnoprophylaxis and immunotherapy. I have puplished several articles in these research firelds.I have developed the Histofarcin skin test used for diagnosis of equine histoplasmiois. also shared in the development of lateral flow device (LFD) for simple rapid diagnosis of bovine mastitis .This kits can identify 7 of the common causes of bovine mastitis simultaneously in few minutes. Also developed several other LFD for diagnosis of other infections of veterinary importance.  I have developed several types of polyclonal antibodies used for immunotherapy of animal diseases including Rhodococcus equi infection in horses. I have developed polyvalent polyclonal antibodies for therapeutic intervention in cases of FMD infection in cattle. Also developed several other types of monoclonal antibodies  (mAbs)of therapeutic (rabies mAb)  and of diagnostic potental including bovine interferon gamma specific mAb and monoclonal antibodies for human blood grouping  (Anti A and anti B mAbs). I working now for development of rapid LFD for rapid diagnosis of preganancy in cattle. I am teaching immunology courses for undergraduate and postgraduate students including basic immuunology, advanced immunology, vaccinology and molecular and diagnostic immunology. also supervising several theses for master degree and Ph.D degrees in veterinary sciences. During the years 2006 - 2007 and 20014 I have worked as a chairman  of Vacsera company for production of vaccines and immunological preparations.
