Biography

I hold a PhD in virology from  the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. I studied enteric viruses associated with runting-stunting syndrome in poultry. Also, I hold Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and Master of Science Veterinary Microbiology degrees. My research generally involved detection of infectious diseases in food and companion animals. I was a team lead in the Ontario Wastewater Surveillance Initiative where I assessed SARS-COV-2 variants of concern in wastewater. I am currently working as a Postdoc Research Fellow in the viral vector vaccine unit at the Vaccine and Infectious Disease Organization. I am open to any research collaboration and position.
