Biography

I hold a PhD in Cellular and Molecular Biology from Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, MSc Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Jiangnan University and BSc Biochemistry, Chemistry and Zoology.

Research interests

I am Biochemist and Molecular biologist. Currently, I am working as a research at the National Livestock Resources Research Institute, under the Vaccinology research program. My research interest is developing vaccines against vector and vector borne pathogens of economic significance to Humans and animals.  Currently, focus is to develop anti-tick and tick pathogen transmission  recombinant vaccines. I also research on other aspects toward finding ways for control of ticks and tick borne disease, for instance, finding novel targets for acaricide development
