Biography
I have worked on a joint collaboration research between Roslin / The University of Edinburgh and The Pirbright Institute working on high-consequence ruminant pathogens with an aim to identify and isolate antigen specific B-cells.
The research focused mainly on FMDV-specific cattle B cells for which high through-put single cell sequencing was developed together with in vitro cattle B cell culture.
I previously worked on East Coast Fever (ECF), mainly on single B cell repertoire research in cattle at ILRI, ANIMAL & HUMAN HEALTH department as a Research Assistant.
I have also worked on HIV vaccine at Kenya medical research institute (KEMRI) & McGill University AIDS Centre / Lady Davis Institute for Medical Research (LDI).
Next generation vaccines will be great game changers.
