Elizabeth undertook a BSc in Biomedical Sciences from Durham University prior to completing a MSc in Medical Microbiology (specialising in virology) at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. Currently she works at the Animal Plant and Health Agency in Weybridge within the Wildlife Zoonoses and Vector Borne Diseases department.
