Mathias is a veterinarian (BVM, MSc & PhD) who teach at Veterinary College in Makerere University, Kampala- Uganda. My area of specialty is Veterinary pathology and I have special interest in Veterinary Diagnostics as such, I have been offering disease diagnostic services for the past 12 years. From 2010 to date my emphasis has been on viral animal diseases of pigs and poultry (African swine fever, Newcastle disease, infectious basal disease etc.). Of recent I have developed interest in vaccine development to prevent devastating animal diseases in Africa, especially African swine fever.
