Born on 10 October 1988 and completed basic education up to higher secondary level from the native district of Kozhikode, Kerala, India. I had completed my graduation in Batchelor of veterinary science and animal husbandry from Kerala veterinary and animal sciences university, Pookode, Wynadu in the year 2013. I completed my post-graduation in Veterinary Virology from ICAR-Indian Veterinary Research Institute, Izzatnagar, Bareilly, UP in the year 2015. Further, I joined for pursuing Ph.D. in the same discipline at ICAR-Indian Veterinary Research Institute, Hebbal, Bengaluru, India and completed my Ph.D successfully by 2020. After my doctoral degree, I joined the same institute as a Junior Research Fellow and continued my research in the Foot-and-mouth disease virus. Further in August 2021, I joined the Bioscience Research and Training Centre at Trivandrum under Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University as a Research Assistant and worked on the study to assess the seroprevalence of SARS COV 2 among cats. Later on, in August 2022 moved to Klybeck Life Sciences in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as Assistant Manager Research and Development team focussing on Process Development for Vaccines for Poultry and Ruminants. Further Joined the Poultry Farming Laboratory, Poultry Business Unit Almarai, as Laboratory Manager and continuing at this position till date.
The major research area of interest is the application of reverse genetic technology for the development of new generation viral vaccine candidates. I acquired hands-on expertise on mammalian cell culture, insect cell culture, various virological, molecular and immunological techniques. Worked on epitope mapping, development of negative marker vaccine candidate, its immunogenicity and protective efficiency evaluation in animal models.
