Biography
I am currently a PhD student at the University of Liverpool working on development of a mucosal vaccine against influenza A virus in chickens, using outer membrane vesicles. I am also developing a diagnostic assay for avian respiratory viruses using third-generation sequencing. Previously studied a BSc in Bioveterinary Science and an MRes in Clinical Sciences at the University of Liverpool.
Research interests
Avian respiratory viruses, in particular influenza A virus, Newcastle disease virus and infectious bronchitis virus, mucosal vaccines and diagnostics.
