Biography
Don is Head of the World Reference Laboratory for foot-and-mouth disease (www.wrlfmd.org). He leads technical work to assess the performance (and quality) of FMD vaccines to ensure that they are suitable for use in endemic and epidemic settings.
Research interests
Currently participating in an WOAH-funded project with AU-PANVAC to establish independent capacity for FMD vaccine QA/QC in Africa (http://wrlfmd.org/fmd-vaccine-quality-control).
