Biography

I have a MVSc degree in Veterinary Public Health and Epidemiology from Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (GADVASU), Ludhiana, India and am presently pursuing a PhD degree in Veterinary Public Health and Epidemiology from Rajasthan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (RAJUVAS), Bikaner, India. I have served as a Teaching Associate at PGIVER, Jaipur (RAJUVAS), Rajasthan, as a Veterinary Surgeon in Ambala district of Haryana state and as a Senior Research Fellow in an ICAR project at GADVASU, Ludhiana for short periods. I have participated in the Cornell Veterinary Leadership Program (2013) on a scholarship from the Cornell University, Ithaca, NY, USA. I have also attended 6 other trainings and workshops in India. I have published 4 research papers and have won the International Best Researcher award (2019) awarded jointly by the World Research Council and IJRULA.

Research interests

Epidemiology, Diagnostics and control of Brucellosis in domestic animals.
