Biography

Naomi Chege is a research associate in the Animal and Human Health (AHH) program at the International Livestock Research Institute. She is involved in vaccine development and immunological experiments on East coast fever, African swine flu and Mycoplasma related livestock diseases. She has also been involved in projects on helminths, Malaria, Leishmania, and Schistosomiasis. Her proficiencies lie heavily on epidemiology, immunology and molecular biology with a keen interest in immunology for health advancement. She holds a degree in Bachelor of Science and currently on her final stages of her masters of science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology both from Egerton University.
