My name is Wasihun Hailemichael I am from Ethiopia. I am currently working at Debre Tabor University as a lecturer and researcher. I have a Bsc in Medical laboratory science from Jimma University Ethiopia and MSc in Immunology from the University of Gondar. In my institution, I am responsible for teaching undergraduate students in the classroom and in the lab. I am also engaged in several research projects with the outcome that can contribute to science and improve the livelihood of people. After the emergence of the COVID-19 pandemic, I was one of the frontlines to participate in prevention and advocacy. Moreover, I worked in a COVID-19 isolation center and also established a COVID-19 diagnosis center being a diagnostic team leader. I have also published three papers related to COVID-19 with my team member’s one of the published articles I was the first author. We are now currently having proposals in our hands and we are looking for funding to undertake research concerning COVID-19.
