Ashenafi Kiros Wubshet got Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and Masters Degree in Veterinary Microbiology from Haramaya and Addis Ababa University, respectively, Ethiopia. Dr. Ashenafi Kiros wubshet is dedicated veterinarian and microbiologist from Ethiopia. Currently obtained PhD in Preventive Veterinary Medicine from Lanzhou Veterinary Research Institute (LVRI), Chinese Academy Agricultural ;Sciences ;(CAAS), China, Gansu province, Lanzhou City, PR China. He is doing his research in novel chimeric vaccine development against FMD SAT2 serotype with the Foot-and-Mouth Diseases Diagnosis Research small Group, under the FMD. He worked as Lecturer for four years in Alage ATVET College Ziway, Ethiopia. From 2012-2016, he worked as Lecturer in school of Veterinary Medicine, Wolaita Sodo University, Ethiopia then he was promoted to the position Asst. Professor. From June
2016 to 2018, he served in a position as researcher in National Animal Health Diagnostic and Investigation Center (NAHDIC), Sebeta, Ethiopia, in the Department of Bacteriology. From 2020 to present he is working for Mekelle University, in the position as Assistant Professor.
