Mr

I am a young researcher and a lecturer at the Université Evangélique en Afrique (UEA/Bukavu) located in the East of the Democratic Republic of Congo in the province of South Kivu.
I am assigned to the Department of Animal Health and Production and particularly to the Laboratory of Molecular Biology.
I am a first year PhD student at the University of Nairobi in Kenya in the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Microbiology (Virology option)
I am currently interested in the diseases of large and small ruminants in the eastern regions of the DR Congo, where there are still no specialists to improve the health and the management of the animals. Especially cows and goats constitute a majority of the animals raised in this region.
However, I am developing a particular focus on dogs as I have noticed a serious problem with these pets whose health seems to be neglected in this part of the DR Congo
am working on the epidemiology and control of foot and mouth disease in the Central African region. Particularly in eastern DR Congo as well as Rwanda and Burundi. This theme will make information available for the regions of the DRC as well as the two neighbouring countries and facilitate control, a step towards the eradication of this disease.
