Dang
Mai Dang was born, grew up in Vietnam and studied at Nha Trang University from where she earned her B.Sc. in Fish Pathology in 2009. She worked as a researcher in Animal Health and Vaccine Development at the Institute for Veterinary Research and Development of Central Vietnam (IVRD) for five years before getting her M.Sc. at the Institute for Marine and Antarctic Studies, University of Tasmania (UTAS), Australia in 2016. After pursuing her Ph.D in Fisheries at UTAS, she comes back to IVRD and working in Aquatic Animal Health topic. Her research focuses on host - pathogen - environment interaction, infectious diseases and vaccine development for tropical fish species.
