Biography
I am veterinarian and aquatic animal health expert currently working as a Senior Lecturer at the School of Veterinary Science of the University of Sydney, Australia. I am interested in host-pathogen interactions and the dynamics of disease transmission, spatial and molecular epidemiology, fish immunology and microbiology. I use holistic system-based approaches including disease modelling, computational biology and bioinformatics, combined with traditional molecular biology, cell culture and microscopy, to better understand the mechanisms that underpin the occurrence of disease.
