Majeed Bakari Soale obtained a PhD in Natural sciences from Universität Würzburg, Germany. He is currently a post-doctoral research fellow at the University of Nottingham. His research focuses on different aspects of the biology of African trypanosomes, mainly in parasite molecular biology, host pathogen interactions and regulation of gene expression.
