I obtained my degree in Biochemistry in 2007 at the Faculty of Pharmacy and Biochemistry (FFyB), at the University of Buenos Aires (UBA), Argentina, the year in which I began my Ph.D. at the same Faculty and I graduated in 2012. I am currently an Associate Researcher at the National Council for Scientific and Technical Research (CONICET) of Argentina, and I develop my research in the Coccidiosis group at the Institute of Veterinary Pathobiology (IPVET) of the National Institute of Agricultural Technology (INTA)- CONICET, in the area of veterinary parasitology. It is focused on different aspects of parasites of importance for human and animal health. In addition, I work as a teacher in the Biotechnology chair of the FFyB-UBA and different postgraduate courses. I am an evaluator of scientific articles and I am the director of doctoral students and trainees. I participate in 7 national and international projects. I am the author and co-author of more than 18 publications in refereed journals and 4 book chapters, and I have more than 40 participations in congresses. I direct a doctoral and an undergraduate student. I also perform specialized services and collaborate with national and international research groups.
