Biography
Veterinarian, Specialist in University Teaching, Master in Animal Health and Doctor in Veterinary Science. Researcher in the research groups on Applied Immunology for Animal Health of the CBiot Biotechnology Center of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS) in Brazil and the Veterinary Parasitology group of the University Nacional de Colombia (UNAL) in Colombia. I have focused on the identification of the different species of parasites that infect and infest domestic and wild animals. As well as, in studying the physiology of ticks by identifying and validating anti-tick proteins and resistance of these ectoparasites.
