Currently I’m working as Post-doc fellow in a project entitled “Tackling food security by controlling ticks and tick-borne diseases in bovines” under supervision of Prof. Dr. Imran Rashid in Department of Parasitology, University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Lahore, Pakistan. I have completed my Ph.D. degree in December, 2019 in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology from Institute of Biochemistry and Biotechnology, University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Lahore, Pakistan under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Wasim Shehzad.
My area of research interest is related to Vaccinology, Parasitology, Biodiversity, conservation biology and ecology, molecular biology and genetics. I have rich experience of molecular biology, genomics and bioinformatics. I have developed my research career in one of the most important veterinary Universities in Pakistan, University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS), hosted by a research group integrated by some of the most active researchers in vaccinology, parasitology, ecology, population and molecular genetics in Pakistan.
