I am a Vet interested in the immunology of the tick-host interaction. Today we are working on a tick vaccine based on salivary antigens identified by transcriptomics, proteomics and in silico studies. I also work on the identification of novel tick proteins which have antinflamatory effects that can be used in vet and human medicine. As I am an assistant professor,  I am a lecturer at the Nursing School and Medical School at Ribeirao Preto-SP, University of Sao Paulo, Brazil. My nursing studies are on health education programs for different parasites and microrganisms.
