Current position: Post Doctoral Research Fellow (FAPESP, supervisor: Dr. Beatriz Rossetti Ferreira) at Ribeirao Preto School of Nursing, Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Main research field: development of recombinant vaccines against infectious and parasitic diseases of animals.
Ongoing research activities: a) development of recombinant subunit vaccines against R. microplus (cattle) and R. sanguineus (dogs) based on salivary antigens); b) phage display and microarray-based epitope mapping of tick antigens; c) functional characterization of tick salivary evasins; d) MHC typing of Brazilian cattle; e) BoLA immunopeptidomics; f) characterization of skin immunity of tick-infested cattle.
