Biography
The member holds a doctoral degree in Veterinary Bacteriology from ICAR-Indian Veterinary Research Institute, India. She has completed a research project entitled 'Comparative evaluation of whole cell bacterin and outer membrane vesicles as vaccine candidates against bovine leptospirosis'. Major research interests include study of antimicrobial resistance in livestock and poultry pathogens, leptospirosis in animals and human, bacteriophages against zoonotic and foodborne pathogens and outer membrane vesicle based vaccines.
