I am experienced in the field of yeast molecular genetics and biotechnology. I am the head of the Laboratory of Metabolic Engineering and the Deputy Director for Research at the Institute of Cell Biology of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. Research interests
My primary research interests revolve around the application of metabolic engineering and the regulation of cell signaling systems to produce biologically active compounds using yeast. Specifically, my focus lies in the development of yeast strains capable of producing fuel ethanol, glycerol, glutathione tripeptide, vitamin B2, and its derivatives. Additionally, I investigate the mechanisms underlying autophagic degradation of cytosolic proteins utilizing yeast models.
