RESEARCH SCIENTIST
MMUST- KALRO
Biography
My current pursuit of a Master of Science in Medical Parasitology is based on my extensive background in African trypanosomiasis research and my Bachelor of Science degree in Entomology and Parasitology. These experiences have given me an in-depth understanding of the complex world of zoonoses. At the moment, I am employed as a research scientist at the KALRO VSRC Trypanosomiasis Research Centre, which doubles as a referral hospital for sleeping sickness in Kenya. I am driven to pursue my academic goals by my love of zoonosis, and the development of vaccines and the fight against pesticide and medication resistance. My objective is to enhance public health by augmenting knowledge in these vital domains through my academic pursuits and research. Research interests
