Biography
I am an academician and researcher specializing in the field of microbiology, with a particular focus on aquatic animal diseases. I obtained my Ph.D. in Microbiology from the Health Sciences Institute at the University of Ankara, Turkey, in 2005. My research interests encompass a broad spectrum of topics within microbiology, including pathogen identification, disease prevention strategies, and antimicrobial resistance in aquatic environments.
I am currently working as a Professor in the Department of Aquatic Animal Diseases at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Ondokuz Mayis, I am deeply committed to advancing scientific knowledge and promoting excellence in education. I am actively involved in both teaching and research, mentoring students at various academic levels and leading innovative research projects aimed at addressing critical issues in aquatic animal health.
