Biography
Jonah Bonaventure Alidor is a forward-thinking, purpose driven, and result oriented student pursuing a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree at the prestigious Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Bayero University Kano, Kano State, Nigeria. His academic journey is marked by excellence, discipline, hard work, and a quest for knowledge, which have earned him numerous awards and recognitions at various stages of his education. In 2024, Alidor's efforts were acknowledged by Prof. Ibrahim Adamu Yakasai, the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Bayero University Kano, when he was appointed as the only student-member of the Faculty's Ad-hoc Committee on Entrepreneurship, Collaboration and Linkages. Alidor aspires to be at the forefront of pharmaceutical innovations, aiming to contribute to both research and practical healthcare solutions, with a special interest in industrial pharmacy and global health. As the pioneer National Chairperson of the Political Advocacy and Stakeholder Engagement Committee of the Pharmaceutical Association of Nigeria Students (PANS), Alidor was committed to advancing the interests of pharmacy students and the pharmacy profession through advocacy efforts, and strengthening mutual relationship between the Association and stakeholders in mainstream politics.
