Biography
Dr. Chau Thi Da is a senior lecturer and researcher at the Faculty of Applied Sciences, Ton Duc Thang University, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. He earned his PhD in Animal Sciences, Nutrition and Management (in Aquaculture) from the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU) and his MSc in Aquaculture and Aquatic Resources Management from the Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand. His expertise includes integrated rice-fish/shrimp farming, reuse of fish pond sludge/sediment, recycling agriculture by-products for bioorganic-fertilizer production, and sustainable natural ecosystem services management for food security and climate change adaptation. Dr. Da has over 25 years of teaching and research experiences, having conducted significant research in aquaculture and agriculture at provincial, national, and international levels. He has published numerous international papers in high-ranking journals; with about 35 ISI-indexed international papers have been recognized by the Web of Sciences.
