A passionate veterinarian with extensive experience in equine and poultry practice who has a strong interest in biomedical research. I am particularly interested in researching the epidemiology of infectious diseases which offers insight on infectious disease spread, and identifies causes, distribution factors, patterns and risk factors to aid in designing holistic prevention and control strategies in low and middle income nations. My goal is to leverage technology in developing evidence based interventions that will inform policies and also herald new hypotheses for future infectious disease research especially in tropical countries.
