Biography
I am a Biochemistry and PhD in Biological Sciences, received at the Faculty of Biochemistry and Biological Sciences (FBCB-UNL). I had worked since 1980 to 2022 in the Diagnostic Laboratory and Agricultural Research of the Ministry of Production of Santa Fe, being Head of Professional Area for the last 10 years.
Since 1990 I have been working as a Teaching-Research Chair of Basic Immunology at FBCB, giving classes of degree and post degree, related to immune response mechanisms in microbial diseases and mucosal immunology, at the same time
I am involved in leading numerous development work and research, leading internships and degree theses. My main researches are developing a vaccine to Equine Infectious Anemia disease and different methods for improving diagnosis of Bovine Tuberculosis in bulk tank of dairy herds. I am working with teams from different faculties and I have led several financial projects.
I have 15 papers published in international peer-reviewed journals and 77 papers presented at national and international congresses.
At last, I am one of the first members that the Veterinary Immunology Argentine Association (AAIV) was founded, now being its vice-director.

Vaccine to Equine Anemia Virus disease Projects you're working on
I am working in development vaccine to EIAV disease. My team that I led, found four epitopes from the surface glycoproteins that could be associated with protection, studied in Balb/c inoculated and with peripheral blood mononuclear cells from up to 50 horses, by wet-lab. We inoculated in Balb/c mice, a DNA vaccine constructed with these epitopes and its antibodies were so low. In our days, my team integrate two professional bioinformatics specialized, to design a multiple epitope vaccine. Discipline
