Biography
Armira Azuar is an accomplished researcher in vaccine development, with expertise spanning over whole pathogen, peptide, protein subunit, and nucleic acid vaccines, targeting bacteria and viruses. Holding a Ph.D. in Chemical Science from The University of Queensland, her pioneering work has primarily revolved around novel vaccine delivery systems for Group A Streptococcus, with a particular focus on self-adjuvanting peptide. Notably, her postdoctoral tenure extended to critical research projects concerning dengue and SARS-CoV-2 vaccines. Her works have garnered publication in reputable journals and have been highlighted through impactful oral and poster presentations at international and domestic conferences. Currently, as a Postdoctoral Fellow at CSIRO Geelong, she is at the forefront of pioneering vaccine research for animal diseases, epitomizing her unwavering commitment to advancing cutting-edge vaccine innovation.
