Here is my website: https://www.qau.edu.pk/profile.php?id=802006 Research interests
My research interests include development of vaccines against economically important infectious diseases of livestock. I recently completed a Pakistan Science Foundation funded project titled " Isolation of Brucella species from cattle and buffaloes and construction of a gene-knock out vaccine against bovine brucellosis". I also have interest in characterization and antibiotic sensitivity of local strains of bacteria of livestock and humans. In addiion, I am also involved in research on genotyping of local strains of viruses of livestock. Projects you're working on
Currently I am the principal investigator of a project titled "Genotyping of Infectious Bronchitis Virus isolated from commercial poultry and preparation and evaluation of a recombinant replication-defective Ad5 vector based Infectious Bronchitis vaccine". The genotyping of the local IBV strains is complete and has been published in a research article, while the development of vaccine is pending. In addition, I supervise postgraduate research projects related to typing, antibiotic sensitivity and detection of antibiotic resistance genes in local bacterial pathogens of livestock and humans.
