Biography

Currently, I'm a Postdoctoral Researcher in School of Veterinary Medicine, University of California, Davis

I mainly interested in host-pathogen interactions, fish diseases, vaccine development, fish immunology, development of diagnostic tools for fish pathogens, genotyping and virulence of fish pathogens and using eDNA for detection of invasive species.

I'm a certified aquatic veterinarian (WAVMA). Also, I am assistant researcher in aquatic animal diseases lab , National Institute of Oceanography and fisheries (NIOF) in Egypt.
