Research interests
Currently working within the field of molecular parasitology specializing in the agricultural field of ticks and tick-borne diseases. The overall research interests include understanding the biology of the host-parasite-vector interface to enable rational selection of targets that can be exploited to control ticks and by extension the devastating diseases that they transmit more effectively. The main aspiration is to produce tools (i.e. vaccines) that can improve the health of livestock.
