Biologist oriented to research in biology and molecular biotechnology, with emphasis on the study and expression of genes and the characterization and identification of peptides and proteins by the MALDI TOF / TOF mass spectrometry technique and "Mass Spectrometry Imaging". Current orientation towards the investigation of neurohormones associated with the reproduction of fish, the identification of antimicrobial peptides in mucus, the study of biomarker proteins in serum and the diagnosis of pathogenic microorganisms in fish. He is currently pursuing a PhD program in Biological Sciences and Engineering at the UNALM, where he is developing a research project on recombinant proteins in yeast with immune character against pathogens in fish.
