My research has focused on the understanding of many infectious diseases affecting animals; both of global and regional importance. Additionally, part of my research is committed to clarify the immunological mechanisms involved in the protection/evasion induced by viral pathogens. Currently, my laboratory works on the development of new vaccine strategies.
