Biography

Kenneth is an intelligent,professionally knowledgeable and skilled research assistant.He has been working in Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI) since 2019 up to date.He has been involved in various projects such as,Holistic Approach Towards Unravelling Antimicrobia Resistance in East and Central Africa (HATUA) and one health research HORN where,he has gained alot of skills such as,excellent questionnairing patients and key informants involved in the study,various laboratory skills such as,serotyping,sample collection,culturing and isolation of colonies needed as well as performing Antimicrobial Susceptibility Testing (AST).Kenneth holds a degree in Medical Microbiology and is the process of studying a masters in epidemiology.

Research interests

I am interested in learning resistant and problematic microorganisms causing disease to humans and animals.

Projects you're working on

I am working on a one health project HORN aimed at understanding the epidemiology and surveillance of Anthrax in the horn of Africa.

I am working on a project named,Holistic Approach Towards Unravelling Antimicrobial Resistance in East and central Africa (HATUA).
