Worked for several Organizations: Researcher at the R&D department of National Prawn Company (Saudi Arabia); WorldFish Center (Egypt); Ghent University (Belgium); AKVAFORSK Genetics Center As (Norway); Consultant for Arab organization for agricultural development (AOAD); principal investigator to projects dealing with national challenges and act as demand driven projects. Provided consultancy services to Africa Union (AUIBAR), FAO, European Union (EU) and Private sector. Also served Malawian communities regarding empowerment of women and its role in aquaculture and fisheries. Familiarity with relevant UN and other international organizations, including, AU, EU, UN Environment, CBD, CITES, CMS, FAO as well as relevant regional organizations working in the Mediterranean, and Red Sea.
Selection for disease resistance in shrimp, and produce disease resistant broodstock for Egyptian aquaculture and the other one to develop field diagnostic test kits for aquatic pathogens affecting fish and shrimp farming in Egypt,
1) Collaborative Research Grants: U.S. – Egypt S&T Joint Fund Cycle 19. “Development and evaluation of field diagnostic kits for disease surveillance and monitoring in shrimp and tilapia aquaculture in Egypt”; 2) Cooperation on Joint Chinese-Egyptian Research Proposals, with Division Marine Aquaculture Animal Disease Control and Histopathology, Yellow Sea Fisheries Research Institute, Chinese Academy of Fishery Sciences, on the development and application of the viruses’ detection kit in the project; and 3) International cooperation project from ministry of science and technology in china, which is an important content of "the belt and road".
