He is a veterinarian with over 18 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry and drug regulation. He is currently employed as Principal Regulatory Officer and also handling the Harmonization and International Linkages docket at Uganda National Drug Authority (NDA). He previously coordinated the streamlining of regulation of veterinary products at NDA.

Since 2012, he has been instrumental in the establishment and implementation of the mutual recognition of registration of Immunological Veterinary Products (IVPs) in the East African Community.

Prior to joining NDA, he worked as a Technical Representative in two veterinary pharmaceutical companies in Uganda.

He holds a Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine of Makerere University, Uganda, Master of Business Administration of Sikkim Manipal University, India and Master of Science in International Animal Health of the University of Edinburgh, United Kingdom. His main interest is veterinary vaccinology.
