Biography

Born in Arsi Asela, Ethiopia, graduated from Addis Ababa University with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in July 2019. Has been working as a lecturer and researcher at Addis Ababa University, CVMA, in the department of Veterinary Microbiology, Immunology, and Veterinary Public Health since August 2019. Currently, pursuing an MSc in Preventive Veterinary Medicine at Lanzhou Veterinary Medicine and Agriculture, the Graduate School of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Science (LVRI, GSCAAS) in China. Conducting research on pseudorabies and the pox virus, as well as developing vaccines and developing ELISA kits.

Research interests

Interested in studying microbiology particularly zoonosis pathogens (bacterial and viral), Vaccinology and Molecular biology.

Microorganism prevalence, pathogenesis, virulence factors, and other unique structures which help their quick detection and identification for better control and prevention designing up to vaccine development.
