Biography
I hold a Ph.D. in Fisheries and Aquaculture from University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences
(UVAS) Lahore, Pakistan , specializing in fish molecular and microbial genetics. My research
focuses on fish microbiology and molecular genetics, aiming to inspire future scientists. I seek a
postdoc position to further my contributions, with expertise in evaluating bacterial antibiotic and
virulence potential, gene amplification using PCR, and examining fish tissues and organs. Research interests
I have studied the emergence and impact of virulence and antibiotic resistance (ABR) genes in aquatic systems, particularly focusing on economically and ecologically important species like Channa marulius and Sperata sarwari. My future research aims to implement stricter environmental regulations, develop sustainable wastewater treatment methods, and explore alternative antimicrobial strategies to mitigate the spread of ABR genes and their ecological impact.
