I am an early career Researcher and Lecturer with the Department of Veterinary Public Health and Preventive Medicine, Federal University of Agriculture Makurdi, Nigeria. I hold a DVM (2010) and an MSc degree (2014) in Veterinary Public Health and Preventive Medicine, both from Ahmadu Bello University Zaria and a PhD in Veterinary Tropical Diseases from tthe University of Pretoria, Onderstepoort, South Africa. My research interests are in Public Health, emerging and reemerging infectious diseasesdiseases a Virology, zoonoses and how they affect veterinary and public health. I am a registered member of the Veterinary Council of Nigeria and Nigerian Veterinary Medical Association.
