Frontiers in comparative immunology series: T cell biology
This one-day meeting, 'Frontiers in comparative immunology series: T cell biology', will take place virtually on Thursday 18 March 2021 from 10:00 to 16:45 GMT.
There have been many significant advances in understanding the turnover, migration and function of conventional T lymphocytes and the importance of resident T cell populations in local immune surveillance. This meeting brings together experts in mouse, avian, bovine, porcine and human T cells to share their insights as to how best to harness T cell immunity.
The meeting is organised by the Comparative Veterinary Immunology Group (CVIG) of the British Society for Immunology in conjunction with the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council UK and International Veterinary Vaccinology Networks (VVN and IVVN). CVIG, VVN and IVVN believe that this meeting will advance our knowledge and understanding of conventional T cells and stimulate new cross species collaborations.
