Let's talk about animal research
Workshop hosted by InterSci. InterSci aim to encourage conversation and collaboration between scientists of different disciplines, and provide a platform for scientists to share their work with the public,
At InterSci we believe that interdisciplinary science and public engagement are key to scientific innovation - but how do you engage with the public when your research involves animals?
Come along to our workshop on Wednesday 15th November in Edinburgh to discuss how to engage with the public when talking about animal research, bring along controversial questions you wouldn't know how to answer if asked during a presentation and learn tips and tricks about how to talk about your research confidently.
The panel discussion will be followed by small group sessions where scientists working in animal research will have the chance to practice giving a short presentation about their research with a small audience, where they can discuss how they would approach more difficult questions about their research.
This workshop is free to attend and you can register here.
