IVVN Network Management Board member, Professor George Warimwe (Group Leader, KEMRI-Wellcome Trust Research Programme, Kenya), is developing the world’s first vaccine suitable for humans and livestock.
By using a "One Health" approach, Professor Warimwe and his team are developing a single vaccine to protect both animals and humans against Rift Valley Fever, one of the World Health Organization’s priority diseases.
